Chelsea have reached an agreement to sign striker Liam Delap for a £30 million fee. According to the threads post of the famous Fabrizio Romano on his official account @fabriziorom, The Blues will trigger his release clause, with medical tests set to be approved by Ipswich Town in the coming days. A 53-year-old father-of-three and former Royal Marine has been charged in connection with a car crash that injured 79 people during Liverpool's Premier League victory parade. Paul Doyle, of Burghill Road in West Derby, was arrested on Monday after a vehicle allegedly driven by him struck crowds gathered on Water Street at around 6:00pm British Summer Time (BST). Among those injured was a nine-year-old child. According to reports from BBC, Merseyside Police said Doyle now faces multiple serious charges, including several counts of causing and attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent, two counts of unlawful and malicious wounding with intent, and one count of dangerous driving. Seven people remain in hospital as a result of the incident, Assistant Chief Constable Jenny Sims confirmed during a press conference. Chelsea Football Club, CFC has clinched the UEFA Conference League trophy for the 2024/2025 season, becoming the first team at club level to collect all the European three trophies - Champions League, Europa League and now the Conference League. Chelsea lifting the UEFA Conference League Trophy after beating Real Betis. CFC trash Real Betis 4-1 to win the trophy at the Wrocław Stadium in Poland on Wednesday. The Spanish side, Real Betis scored first through their forward, Abde Ezzalzouli at the 9th minute in First Half, making the London Blues to sweat to getting the equalising goal in the Second Half scored by Enzo Fernandez at 65th minute. Chelsea, then went on to punish the Spanish side scoring three more unreplied goals with Nicholas Jackson in the 70th minute, as Jordan Sancho and Moises Caicedo goals followed suite in the 83rd and 91st respectively. Chelsea have now won all UEFA European trophy sets, etching their name in history.
