'No Evidence of Human Rights Abuse was committed' - Lagos CP Clears Task Force of WrongDoing
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Olorundare Moshood Jimoh, has cleared the officers of Lagos State Task Force of any wrongdoing in a recent case involving the arrest of a traffic offender , stating that there was no evidence of abuse or dehumanisation. According to the Lagos Voice (an online platform), the CP disclosed at a meeting held at the police headquarters, Ikeja, noting that the Command would not condone any act against human rights from any of the formations under him. “The suspect was promptly taken before a mobile court, where the charges were read, and bail was granted,” he explained.
