Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has praised President Bola Tinubu for his continued support of the Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) Blue Line project, as the state moves closer to delivering an improved train experience for commuters. Lagos takes delivery of three brand-new trains of 12 coaches for Blue Line Rail - Sanwo-Olu Announces

The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced the arrival and delivery of three brand-new trains 12 coaches to boost the Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) for the Blue Line section. Governor Sanwo-Olu revealed the information on Thursday via his X-platform (formerly twitter), stating that the ongoing work on the Phase 2 of the Blue Line is proposed to be completed by 2026. His words: "I’m happy to share that we have taken delivery of three brand-new train sets of 12 coaches in total for the Lagos Blue Line Rail. "This means shorter wait times and more comfortable trips for everyone using the Blue Line. It’s a step forward in our efforts to make daily commute in Lagos less stressful and more reliable.
