Lagos Kicks Off 2027 Budget Consultation Monday at Ikeja
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu handing over the 2026 Budget Estimates to the Lagos House of Assembly. The Lagos State Government, through the Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget, will on Monday, September 7, 2026, begin its 2027 Budget Consultation, an annual five-day exercise of meeting with residents to collect and collate their views and needs, for possible inclusion in the incoming fiscal year proposal. The Year 2027 Budget Consultative Forum, billed to kick off with the Ikeja division after which moves to other areas of Lagos, is part of the Administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and shared prosperity, providing residents and stakeholders with an opportunity to contribute their views, needs and aspirations to the State’s development priorities and fiscal planning for the 2027 financial year.
