LAGOS GOVT SETS STAGE FOR Y2026 BUDGET, CALLS STAKEHOLDERS TO CONSULTATIVE FORUM
The Lagos State Government has announced the commencement of its Stakeholders’ Consultative Forum on the Year 2026 Budget, a participatory exercise aimed at involving residents in shaping the State’s developmental priorities. According to a statement from the Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget, the consultative sessions will run across the five divisions of Lagos State, beginning Tuesday, September 9, 2025, in Ikeja and concluding Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in Badagry. The fora will feature representatives from Community Development Associations, traditional rulers, professional and religious bodies, civil society groups, non-governmental and trade organizations, youth groups, and people living with disabilities. Members of the general public are also encouraged to attend, with provisions made for both physical and virtual participation.
