SANWO-OLU PREACHES LOVE, PEACE, COMPASSION AT CHRISTMAS
The Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has celebrated with Lagos residents and every Nigerian on the commemoration of Christmas, which is the birth of Jesus Christ. Governor Sanwo-Olu, in a Christmas message issued by his Special Adviser, Mr Gboyega Akosile, urged people to be their brother’s keepers by showing love and compassion to one another throughout this season. He said, "As we celebrate Christmas, I am extending my best wishes to every Lagosian and Nigerians, especially Christians across the country and other parts of the world. "We must not forget the true essence of the season, which is to reflect on the birth of Jesus and its significance to mankind. We should seize the opportunity of the celebration to strengthen our love for one another by being kind and generous to the people around us.
