Sanwo-Olu Sends Message of Unity as Ramadan, Lent Commence

The Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has greeted Christians and Muslims as they commence this year’s Lenten and Ramadan seasons. In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile on Wednesday, the Governor urged Nigerians and Lagosians in particular to be more steadfast in prayers to God against many untoward occurrences in the country and seek advancement of our shared peace and prosperity. According to the statement, Sanwo-Olu said: "I congratulate Lagosians and Nigerians, especially Christians and Muslims, for the celebration of this year's Lent and Ramadan. The Ogun and Lagos States governments has stated and confirmed that Anthony Joshua and another passenger are in stable condition following treatment being received in a specialised facility in Lagos as a result of the road accident they were involved with on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
