SANWO-OLU PREACHES LOVE, PEACE, COMPASSION AT CHRISTMAS

  The Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has celebrated with Lagos residents and every Nigerian on the commemoration of Christmas, which is the birth of Jesus Christ. Governor Sanwo-Olu, in a Christmas message issued by his Special Adviser, Mr Gboyega Akosile, urged people to be their brother’s keepers by showing love and compassion to one another throughout this season. He said, "As we celebrate Christmas, I am extending my best wishes to every Lagosian and Nigerians, especially Christians across the country and other parts of the world. Over 500 Lagos residents of Amuwo Odofin get free Food-Box to celebrate Christmas

Over 500 Indigent families in Amuwo-Odofin, Lagos State, went home with a Food-Box donated by non-governmental organisations, Yeloto Foundation, in partnership with Symphony of Praise Incorporation (SOP) to celebrate the festive period. The Food Box content includes rice, beans, garri, spaghetti, food seasonings, groundnut oil, and cash gifts as  part of the organisations’  initiative to give back to society. According to the President of Yeloto, Dr, Yemi Olawaye,the gesture was to put smiles on the faces of the people in the community during the festive period, especially those who are not able to afford food to celebrate Christmas. “Its our pleasure every year to put smiles on the faces of Nigerians.
