Lagos Unveils Reconstruction of Ladoke Akintola, Other Ikeja GRA Roads

  The Lagos State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to urban renewal with plans to rehabilitate and upgrade major road networks in Ikeja Government Reserved Area (GRA), including Ladoke Akintola Road, Oladipo Bateye/Tayo Ayeni/Adetunji Adeoba roads, and the Sowemimo corridor. As part of preparations for the projects, the Office of Infrastructure in the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure held a stakeholders' engagement meeting with residents and other affected parties to discuss the scope of work, expected benefits, and possible disruptions during construction. Over 500 Lagos residents of Amuwo Odofin get free Food-Box to celebrate Christmas

Over 500 Indigent families in Amuwo-Odofin, Lagos State, went home with a Food-Box donated by non-governmental organisations, Yeloto Foundation, in partnership with Symphony of Praise Incorporation (SOP) to celebrate the festive period. The Food Box content includes rice, beans, garri, spaghetti, food seasonings, groundnut oil, and cash gifts as  part of the organisations’  initiative to give back to society. According to the President of Yeloto, Dr, Yemi Olawaye,the gesture was to put smiles on the faces of the people in the community during the festive period, especially those who are not able to afford food to celebrate Christmas. “Its our pleasure every year to put smiles on the faces of Nigerians.
