2027 Governorship Election: Sanwo-Olu receives His Deputy, Dr Hamzat on Consultation Visit

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu received his Deputy, Dr Obafemi Hamzat who have been on a consultation train on his governorship ambition for the 2027 election. 

Dr Hamzat is hoping to clinch his party's governorship ticket for the next general elections.

The Deputy Governor, Dr Hamzat via his X platform said "Today, I am honoured by the endorsement of my Governor, my brother and my friend, HE Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

"His trust means a great deal to me. We’ve worked side by side in the service of Lagos State, and I don’t take this vote of confidence lightly.

"I remain committed to building on the progress we’ve made together, and look forward to serving Lagosians with integrity, focus and a clear sense of purpose."

With the All Progressives Congress, APC primaries not far fetched to officially pick her flagbearers for the next general elections, aspirants continue to seek supports from party faithful, power blocs and groups within the party.
