But to his leaders and colleagues, within the inner caucus of Lagos State politics and government, Sanwo-Olu was a quintessential leader and administrator in the making that had a lot to offer. This was the beginning and six years after, he has continued to make...

Botafogo Stun PSG with Historic Win at Club World Cup

Image
In one of the most shocking moments of this year’s Club World Cup, Brazilian reigning champion, Botafogo delivered a statement performance, edging out European giants Paris Saint-Germain with a hard-fought 1-0 victory. The match-winner came from striker Igor Jesus, whose first-half effort from outside the box took a wicked deflection off defender Willian Pacho, wrong-footing PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and nestling into the back of the net. The goal sparked wild celebrations among Botafogo supporters, who have already had plenty to cheer about after the club clinched their first-ever Copa Libertadores title earlier in 2024. But it wasn’t just about the goal. Botafogo’s resilience was on full display throughout the match, as they defended with grit and discipline to keep Luis Enrique’s star-studded PSG side at bay. Despite dominant spells from the Parisians, clear chances were wasted — most notably by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Gonçalo Ramos, who both failed to conver...

The collected data will feed into a Lagos-specific emissions database, aiding policy development, operational planning, and long-term investment strategies. The project ...

Unlike subcutaneous fat (the kind you can grab), visceral fat is hidden and insidious. It doesn’t just sit there — it’s metabolically active, pumping out harmful inflammatory chemicals 24/7. This type of fat is strongly linked to a wide range of chronic diseases, including: • Heart attacks • Type 2 diabetes • Fatty liver disease • Alzheimer’s • Erectile dysfunction • Low testosterone • Chronic fatigue and anxiety The TOFI Phenomenon: “Thin Outside, Fat Inside” You don’t have to be visibly overweight to carry dangerous levels of visceral fat. Some people look lean but are secretly...
