SANWO-OLU COMMISSIONS MONUMENTAL PROJECTS IN LAGOS ISLAND EAST LCDA

The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Thursday inaugurated multiple projects in Lagos Island East Local Council Development Area (LCDA), facilitated by the council chairman, Hon. Muibi Alade Folawiyo. The Governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to grassroots development, innovation, and inclusive governance. BABIES TO GET NIN AT BIRTH AS SANWO-OLU LAUNCHES NEW INITIATIVE

Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the Chairman of Lagos Island East LCDA, Hon. Muibi Alade Folawiyo at the event. The Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu launched the e-Birth registration initiative, a collaboration between the Lagos State Government, the National Population Commission (NPC), and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). The launch held on Thursday, at the Lagos Island East Local Council Development Area (LCDA) along with commissioning of newly built projects facilitated by the the Council chairman, Hon. Muibi Folawiyo. LAGOS GOVERNOR’S MILESTONE QUIZ COMPETITION WINNERS EMERGE

The first set of winners emerged from Week One of the Governor’s Milestone Quiz Competition, with six individuals securing the top positions in the first-place category. LAGOS GOVT SEALS ILLEGAL NURSING COLLEGE IN IKORODU

The Lagos State government has sealed Tower College of Health Sciences in Gberigbe, Ikorodu, for operating an illegal nursing program.   A joint enforcement team on Thursday, comprising officials of the Lagos State Ministry of Health through the Directorate of Nursing Services (DNS), the Nursing and Midwifery Committee of Lagos State, and the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwife (NANNM), Lagos State branch, with men of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), stormed the school premises to enforce the closure. During the operation, the Director of the college, Femi Ajekigbe was arrested and has been taken into custody for questioning and further legal action by the State.
