APBN LAGOS SUPPORTS SPINAL CORD INJURY VICTIMS WITH FOOD, CASH RELIEF

The Spinal Cord Injuries Association (SCIAN) transit facility in Amuwo Odofin turned to a brighter haven as the Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria (APBN) Lagos State chapter donated food items and cash to support victims of the fatality.

At the weekend, APBN state chapter led by its chairman, Bldr. Asimiyu-Towolawi Bashir accompanied by the General Secretary, TPL. Rasheed Osinowo and other members visited the Spinal Cord Injuries Centre at Mile 2 as part of events to commemorate her just concluded 2025 Professional Week.

Bldr. Bashir, at the commencement Professional Week had stated that the event was part of the association’s efforts to extend compassion to the less privileged.

The APBN Professional Week flagged off with a Press Briefing; held a commemorative Service at the Alausa Church; organised a Seminar to foster professional collaboration, deepen ethical standards, and inspire a culture of service across disciplines.

Closing the week-long event, the Association paid a courtesy Visit to the Spinal Cord Injuries Centre, Mile 2 and held a Jumat Service at the Alausa Secretariat Central Mosque.

The APBN chairman reaffirmed the body’s commitment to promoting professionalism, ethical standard, and service to humanity.  He added that the association is open to collaborations that would foster support for a robust socio-economic growth of Lagos State and Nigeria at large.
