The Federal Government has declared Tuesday, July 15, 2025, as a public holiday in honour of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR. This announcement follows the ongoing seven-day national mourning period declared by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government, noting that the holiday serves as a mark of respect for Buhari’s service and contributions to Nigeria’s democracy and national development. “President Muhammadu Buhari served Nigeria with dedication, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the unity and progress of our great nation,” Tunji-Ojo said. Not even Kylian Mbappe nor Vinicius Jr. could pose a threat to the Parisans defence as two goals from Fabian Ruiz, one on either side of Ousmane Dembele's goal in the first half totalling 3-0 seemed enough to have clipped the galacticos and damaged their chances of getting to the final.
