As Lagos State prepares for the highly anticipated Local Government Elections scheduled for Saturday, July 12, 2025, the State Police Command has unveiled robust security measures aimed at ensuring a peaceful, safe, and orderly electoral process across the 20 Local Government Areas and 37 Local Council Development Areas.

Personnel from these agencies will be strategically deployed to ensure law and order are maintained before, during, and after the election.

Suspected miscreants, hoodlums and thugs and their sponsors will be promptly arrested, investigated and prosecuted,” CP Jimoh emphasized.

Parents and community leaders have also been advised to caution their children and wards against acts of violence or intimidation, as the police will not tolerate any breach of peace.
