Chelsea beats Fluminense 2-0 to be in Sunday's Final of FIFA CWC

Chelsea has now qualified for the final of the FIFA Club World Cup beating the Brazilian side, Fluminense 2-0 in the semi finals.

The London Blues new buy, Joao Pedro in his full start for the club, who was a former player of the Brazilian side scored the two goals in a superb finish in each half of the match to earn his new employers a place in the final.

The match, played at the MetLife stadium in New Jersey which so many past stars of the game - Kaka, Cafu, Marco Materazzi and some others in attendance, saw Pedro curl in from outside the box to give Chelsea the lead in the 18th minutes. He got the second goal in another fine finish in 56th minutes which eventually saw Chelsea through and earned him the 'Superior Player of the Match', equivalent to Man of the Match award.

Fluminense, though gave a scare to the Chelsea side early on in the second half when Hercules beat the Blues goalkeeper, Robert Sanchez to the ball but only for Marc Cucurella to stop the ball from going into the net. A VAR check also cancelled out a Penalty call made by the Referee after the ball caught Chalobah's hands in his 18yard box.

Chelsea will meet the winner of the second semi final - PSG vs Real Madrid in the Finals of the competition on Sunday at the MetLife Stadium, New Jersey. This final also sees Chealse as the third most in the competition's final, Real Madrid (6) and Barcelona (4) has had more.
